SELTZER'S Nippy Triangles

6 oz. cream cheese
4 tsp horseradish
12 slices Seltzer's Lebanon Bologna (any variety)

Mix cream cheese and horseradish.  Spread mixture on 8 of the bologna slices.  Layer two of the prepared slices and top with a plain slice to create a 3-layered circle.  Repeat steps with remaining bologna.   For easier cuttin, chill prepared Bologna and cream cheese circles in freezer for 30 minutes.  Cut each circle into 4 triangles and chill.  Makes 24 hors d'oeuvres.

 

SELTZER'S Sweet 'n Sour Party Popovers

One 8 oz. package crescent rolls
8 Seltzer's Lebanon Bologna slices, halved (any variety)
Sweet 'n Sour mustard
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Separate dough, flatten each triangle slightly and spread with mustard.  Place two half slices of bologna on each triangle and sprinkle with cheese.  Rolls triangle into crescent.  Bake at 350º for 12 minutes.  Makes 8 popovers.

 

SELTZER'S Pasta Salad Twist

3 tbsp. Dijon mustard
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. olive oil
one pound pkg. rotini or twirls
1/2 lb. Seltzer's Lebanon Bologna (any variety, sliced thick and cut into strips)
1/2 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
1 large green pepper, cut into strips

To make dressing, process mustard, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt and pepper in food processor until thickened.  Next, cook pasta according to package directions.  Drain.  Combine pasta and remaining ingredients with dressing.  Toss.  Serve warm or cold.  Serves 6 to 8.

 

SELTZER'S PA Dutch Sizzler Sandwich

1 lb. Seltzer's Lebanon Bologna (any variety, sliced thick or thin to your liking)
8 large sandwich buns
8 slices cheese
honey mustard

Place bologna on a hot grill, frying pan or griddle.  Cook 1 1/2 minutes, turn the slices and cook an additional 1 1/2 minutes.   Melt cheese on top.  Spread buns with mustard.  Place the bologna slices on sandwich buns.  You may also add tomato slices, lettuce, pickles, onions and any of your favorite sandwich fixings.  Makes 8 sandwiches.

 

Seltzer’s Onion Fingers

1/2 lb butter (softened)
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
4 slices Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna (any variety, chopped into fine pieces)
10 slices white bread, crusts removed

Mix butter and soup mix. Add bologna and spread mixture onto one side of each bread slice. Cut each slice into 4 pieces. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 40 fingers

 

Deviled Eggs – Seltzer’s Style

6 eggs
4 slices Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna (any variety, chopped fine)
4 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp dried mustard
Salt & pepper to taste
Paprika for garnish

Hard boil eggs, slice in half lengthwise and remove yolks and mix with remaining ingredients. Place mixture into Egg halves and sprinkle with paprika. Makes 12 deviled eggs.

 

Seltzer’s Quick ‘n Easy Party Quiche

1 medium onion, copped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
Dash of Salt & Pepper
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
3 cup Bisquick
2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
8 oz. diced Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna (any variety)

Sauté onions and mushrooms in 2 tbsp of butter until tender. Mix all ingredients in bowl. Pour into ungreased 9 1/2" x 11" pan. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Serves 8
